We can celebrate one of our own, Tioga Research, being selected as a Red Herring 100 North America company for 2016.

This list ostensibly comprises the 100 most exciting early phase private companies in the US and Canada.

Of the some 130 companies presenting to judges and peers at the three day meeting on June 6-8 2016 in Newport Beach, six were life sciences companies. No company other than Tioga Research was a contract research organization. It may, indeed, be unprecedented for a CRO to be selected as a recipient of the Red Herring 100 North America accolade.
