Genea Biocells is co-sponsoring the “2017-2018 SD Skeletal Muscle Seminar Series” with Sanford Burnham Prebys. The goal of these Free monthly talks is to promote skeletal muscle research, enhance its visibility, and strengthen the skeletal muscle community. The next seminar will be held Thursday, December 14th at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute Bldg 12- Auditorium from 1pm-2pm located at 10905 Road to the Cure, San Diego, CA 92121.

Katja Lamia, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Dept. of Molecular Medicine, TSRI will be giving a talk entitled, “Cryptochromes link circadian rhythms to exercise physiology,” and Tom Roberts, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, Puri Lab (SBP),Development, Aging and Regeneration Program, SBP, will be giving a talk entitled, “Sequencing analysis of Small RNA Biomarkers in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.” To find out more about the series please visit: sbpdiscovery.org/muscle.
